About BPH
Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) is a common condition in men over 50, causing urinary problems such as weak stream, frequent urination, and incomplete bladder emptying ,straining to pass urine and difficulty to void urine.
To overcome these symptoms ,urinary bladder has to make more and more contractions of its muscle walls to empty the bladder and maintain the urinary stream, however, with passage of time the bladder wall gets thickened and lower urinary tract symptoms, LUTS , worsened that is why i always prefer for my patients to go for early intervention for prostatic enlargement.

The folly’s catheter remains in situ for 1-3 days after this surgery. The prerequisite for this procedure is cardiac and pulmonology fitness from the concerned specialist.
